After seven years and five unconferences, we have decided that THATCamp Community College 2019 will be our final unconference. We would like to thank all campers who attended over the years and for the support we have gotten both locally and around the tri-state area and, frankly, the world.

]]>A camper has sent in the following proposal: Teaching literature in a course on Digital and Electronic Literature. I’ll preview my new course being offered on just that, think through approaches to literature and writing in a course on born-digital lit, and get people thinking about community college-specific strategies for teaching, learning, and collaboration. Will have some examples that people can access via smart phones and other platforms. Anyone with any interest, familiar with e-lit or not, is welcome, as are gamers, as the difference (?) between games and e-lit is a fruitful conversation.

There are a number of factors that could be connected to this both inside academia and outside of it and it would be worthwhile to have a conversation in a session.
